I’m trying to fight off this drunk feeling. I’m trying to do everything better. I can feel myself touching down, sobering up. I have made my way through the city like the waves once did. I have filled the empty spaces, but I am not enough for this city to sway over. I have distanced myself from that nostalgia like frost covering me, begging me to never move again. The lights reaching through the shadows of the city are finally finding me through the trees. Pushing? Pulling?
